Eastern Washington gets a pretty bad rap sometimes, but it's gems like the Lind, Washington Combine Demolition Derby that salvage its reputation (or maybe just furthers it along). Each June the small town of Lind, with it's one restaurant and one bank, celebrate Lind's weekend complete with BBQs, car races, grain truck races, and the Combine Demolition Derby!!!! Hell, a normal demolition derby is great, let alone massive harvesters crashing into each other at what I can only imagine is high speed. Everything coalesces this June 13-15th. $12 for an adult, $7 for kids. Bring a big American flag so you don't stick out.
