Moscow - Howard Hughes Video

A great locally owned video store. Has the be the closest "brick & morter" video store to Netflix that I've ever found. The organization can be a bit wacky with sections like "Dramedy" and "Cult Classics" as well as the older VHS tapes being organized by actor, but the employees there are super nice and they'll help you find whatever you need. The "Employee Picks" and "Criterion Collection" sections are good if you need to find somehting good in a hurry. I'm not exactly sure what the late fee works out to, but I'm pretty sure they don't charge you a full rental fee if you return something late.

On of the great things is that movies that are new to dvd but not new releases start off at $2.50 instead of the new release price.

Print of this coupon from thesurvivalkit.com and you can get 5 movies (non new release) for $4 for 5 days.

being a disgruntled ex-hollywood video employee i can appreciate the dig on the late fines. one thing i can't quite forgive this place for though is their terrible shelving system. that's one thing blockbuster wins on.
