Seattle - Gas Works Park

Close to the University District, and Wallingford built on the former site of the Seattle Gas Light Company gasification plant. Gas Works has a large area to play, and a covered barn area with things to see and play on. It also has a big hill perfect for flying kites. There are plenty of photo opportunities, and things to explore. It even has a great view of the city!

Hours: Day time is best for colorful pictures and kite flying, and night time is best a view of the city lights.

we just went tonight, and the view of the seattle skyline and the water was amazing. definately check it out at night and well.
